Some tips to help you and help others:

• Turn on your porch or garage lights nightly!
• Consider investing in doorbell-based cameras or other exterior monitoring equipment
• Lock all car and house doors
• Be careful not to block our sidewalks with any cars - our kids and pets need access to avoid going onto the street!
• Make sure to remove any valuables from visible areas inside your cars
• Clear street drains of leaves to prevent street flooding
• Never park in front of fire hydrants
• Remove any package deliveries from your front door quickly - or ask a neighbor to help if you won’t be home 
• Be careful walking alone - especially at night!
• Have someone know where you’re going and when you’re coming back
